About VELS
Vels Institute of Science, Technology & Advanced Studies-VISTAS(Deemed-to-be-University),Chennai was declared a Deemed-to-be University by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, in 2008. We currently offer over 100 undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across diverse disciplines including Medicine, Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, Engineering, Management, Commerce, Pharmacy, Mass Communication, Law, Maritime Studies, Education, Computer Science, Basic and Life Sciences, and many more.
All our programs are approved by the relevant statutory bodies such as NMC, INC, AICTE, UGC, PCI, BCI, DGS, and NCTE. VISTAS (Deemed-to-be-University) is proud to have received an ‘A ++’ Grade accreditation from NAAC, with 11 programs accredited by NBA. We have also been granted 12B status by the UGC, and our School of Pharmaceutical Sciences was ranked 64th in the NIRF Rankings 2024. The University itself has been placed in the 101–150 band nationally.

Final Verification & Access
After the university finalizes the verification and confirms your fee payment, your admission will be officially confirmed. You will then gain access to VELS Learning Management System (LMS) to begin your courses.
